InTheSaltSpace in Devon

July 2025:
InTheSaltSpace has been invited to work with the Pebblebed Heaths Conservation Trust & Clinton Devon Estate in East Devon as part of their Pebblebeds For All Project supported by the National Lottery. Having co-facilitated a consultation event to help launch a new Women's Forum this July, we are now in planning on a series of autumn 2025 - spring 2026 sessions for people in the area to connect in new ways with the Pebblebed Heaths National Nature Reserve and the Otter Estuary. More about the Pebblebeds For All project here.

June 2025:
InTheSaltSpace was present at the Melting Ice I Rising Tides art & environment symposium at the Burton Bideford in North Devon in June, an event set amongst Emma Stibbon RA's powerful exhibition sharing her extraordinary work created in and about the Arctic, the Antarctic and the North Devon coastline. Looking at how art can be a key tool for powerfully articulating and contrasting the local and global facts of climate change and thereby empowering action, the wide-ranging speakers included artists and glaciologists, art & climate curators and representatives from key agencies and organisations. Discussions and outcomes continue!
